Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by JobFit to answer common privacy questions about the service.
What we collect
- Account info: email and (optionally) full name when you sign up.
- Resume content: what you type into the builder — only stored when you save a resume.
- Payment info: handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.
- Free ATS checker: resume text and job description you paste are sent to our AI provider for one-shot analysis and are not stored on our servers.
How we use it
To provide the service: render your resume, run AI rewriting and tailoring you request, send transactional emails (purchase receipts, password resets), and protect against abuse.
Who we share it with
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Supabase — managed database and authentication for your account and saved resumes.
- AI providers — your bullet text and pasted JD are sent to a language model to generate the rewrite/score.
We do not sell your data and we do not use your resume content to train AI models.
Your rights
Delete any saved resume from your dashboard at any time. Email privacy@jobfit.app to request full account deletion, export of your data, or any other privacy request.
Cookies
We use a single auth cookie/local-storage entry to keep you signed in. We do not run third-party trackers on signed-in pages.
Security
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. The database enforces row-level security so users can only read and modify their own data.
